While making it a reality, the concept of “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour” of H. E. the President, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and at a time where the local farmers tend to use organic fertilizer consequent to suspension of the use of chemical fertilizer in Sri Lanka, the event of laying of the foundation stone of the bio fertilizer Plant which produces an amount of ten percent of the national fertilizer requirement, took place on 14.08.2021 at the premises of Lanka Sugar Company (Pvt.) Ltd.

The Hon. Minister along with the State Ministers, Hon. Janaka Wakkumbura and Hon. Sashindra Rajapaksa, Members including the Chairman of the Pradeshiya Sabha and the officials of Lanka Sugar Company (Pvt.) Ltd. graced this occasion.
